Conference calling is an effective medium for bringing large groups of people together without the costly expense of travel. Whether you are conducting sales presentations, investor relations meetings, project planning sessions, or conferences between key decision makers, conference calling solutions provided by PurespeedPlus through our partner DCI Voice Solutions offer many advantages. Depending on your company's needs, operator-assisted or reservationless conference calls are viable options.
Reservationless calls are a cost efficient way to handle large calls, as they do not require the labor needed for operator assisted calls, hence passing on significant savings to the user. Also, a reservationless conference call offers premium convenience as users simply dial a toll free number to connect to our conference calling system and follow an automated menu. Each participant would follow the same procedure using a pin number, provided to them by the call initiator, which allows invited individuals the ability to connect to the meeting automatically.
For more involved calls with many participants, operator-assisted conference calling may be a worthwhile avenue to pursue. At the most basic level, the operator can place callers into the meeting. The operator can also provide call management services such as taking a roll call to ensure all participants are in attendance. The operator can even track down missing participants and place them into the call. Additionally, enhanced services such as meeting introductions and question and answer sessions can also be provided in an operator-assisted call.
Direct Entry Participants are placed directly into the conference and are able to communicate with each other prior to the beginning of the conference.
Music Entry Allows participants to be placed on music hold while waiting for the conference to begin. Participants are unable to speak to each other while on music hold.
Announce Participants Participants are announced by the conference call operator as they enter the call.
Entry Tone Participants will hear a specific tone when a new participant joins the call.
Exit Tone Participants will hear a specific tone when a participant leaves the call.
Roll Call After the leader has joined the call, a conference call operator will conduct a roll call.
